Arsenal Gunning for the Cup

After a day of shock exits, Arsenal showed their intention to retain the FA cup title by beating Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium yesterday.

Theo Walcott kicked off the scoring after only 89 seconds, and then Mezut Ozil scored a second, in his first start since being sidelined by an ankle injury in October.

It looked like the game was back on when Brighton’s Chris O’Grady pulled one back for the home team, but Tomas Rosicky restored Arsenal’s two goal lead. Baldock scored another for the Seagulls leaving the score at 2-3 at the final whistle.
