West Ham United rose to 3rd place in the Premier League table yesterday, after defeating Swansea 3:1 at Upton Park. In form Swansea opened the scoring with a spectacular counter attack set up from Siggurdsson, clinically finished by Wilfred Bony. However, Andy Carroll’s pace and physical presence proved too much for Swansea’s defence, and he struck a brace of headers past the goalkeeper, his first goals at Upton Park since 2013. With Sakho adding to the score sheet in the 87th minute securing their triumph, Sam Allardyce and West Ham United are simply having a wonderful Christmas time.
