Chelsea’s 2-0 win against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge yesterday was marred by a touchline spat between adversarial managers Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger. Wenger shoved Mourinho in the chest as they exchanged heated words in the technical area. The build up to the match was fraught with tension after last year’s 6-0 thrashing, and the controversial move of Gunners legend, Cesc Fabregas to Chelsea from Barcelona. On the day, Fabregas answered the taunts from the visiting crowd by placing a beautiful cross for Costa, from which he scored the second goal. The first goal came from a first half penalty taken by Eden Hazard, after he was fouled by Laurent Koscielny. Chelsea are now five points clear at the top of the Premier League table, while Arsenal are now in eighth place.
