Any old Iron!

West Ham climbed to seventh place in the Premier League table yesterday after beating beleaguered Queen’s Park Rangers 2-0. Ironically, on form West Ham beat a QPR side full of ex-hammers – with Robert Green in goal, Rio Ferdinand, Bobby Zamora, and of course, QPR manager Harry Rednapp himself. QPR have now won only once in seven games, a statistic which doesn’t bode well for a team that will face Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City during the next month.

  1. I laughed out loud, and so did Dad! Very funny, Sarah

  2. I thought you were going to start reporting on Rangers’ victories? No wait . . . Carry on.

Oh Kieran, I did feel bad posting this after last week, but finding myself conveniently availed of a horse and cart and a little knitted Harry, I couldn’t resist! I’m viewing it more as a critique of Rednapp management than a pop at QPR, and if the twittersphere is to be believed, he may not be in service for much longer. Are you a Harry fan, or do you think a change would be good?

      1. In two minds. Can’t keep chopping and changing leadership, but his body language suggests he’s just taking a wage from us. Good news is that Sir Les is back!

Yay – all the Ferdinands! 🙂
