Hot spurs run hoops round Harry’s QPR

Harry Rednapp’s return to White Hart Lane was an uncomfortable affair, as QPR put in a dismal performance against a rampant Tottenham side. Whilst the team that stole a last minute lucky win against West Ham looked lack-lustre last weekend, against Queen’s Park Rangers, they showed all the flair and potential promised by their pre-season play.

While the goals came from Nacer Chadli – who scored twice, defender Eric Dier and striker Emmanuel Adebayor, all eyes were on the young Argentinian Erik Lamela who looked impressive throughout, and set up two of the goals. On this performance, Spurs have definitely thrown their hat in the ring for a place in the top four at the end of the season.
